KEY REPORT – Artificial Intelligence

AI Generated Content.

Could AI generated content become a new standard for content provision speed and accuracy wise?

                              Or

Is it a scary sneak peek into what the future holds concerning the dark side of AI-generated content?

AI stands for Artificial Intelligence and it refers to the ability of a computer or robot controlled by a computer to perform tasks that are usually completed by humans as they require human intelligence, discernment and skill.

AI generated content is a subset of a broad AI family that involves using machine learning algorithms to provide too quality and converting content for consumption and distribution.

AI is literally like magic as it gives you your results in an impressively short period of time. But with magic and every other thing that’s literally too good to be true, there are two sides to this game changing technology. As tools are either constructive or destructive, so is artificial intelligence as well. Below are the two sides to the artificial intelligence coin.

The first part is about how it provides a comfortable and timely way to create engaging and entertaining content that’ll just about take humans hours to complete while the second part is how its misuse can be dangerous to human nature in several ways. These two points amongst several other headings would be discussed in this article and it will surely make for an interesting read. If you’re ready, let’s hop in!

To properly understand the concept of artificial intelligence (AI), it is important to understand why it was introduced in the first place.

The problem before the introduction of AI

Although it is said that the human basin is able to store information equivalent to about 2.5 million gigabytes, there are several factors that could potentially limit the brain’s ability to continually produce top-tier content. Some of these could include stress, being used to particular writing styles, pressure and so much more.

Solution

Having stated some human limitations above, we can then say that Artificial Intelligence improves overall output by eliminating potential inhibitors to the production of quality comment and giving users access to a limitless comment bank to utilize.

Artificial intelligence is particularly equipped in erasing the problems stated above as it performs complex tasks of learning and cognition at a level that matches or exceeds that of humans.

Major players in AI-generated content

Just like every major revolution, there are always front runners flying the revolution’s banner high and with AI generated contents, it is no different. The major players in the AI-generated revolution are not related to content alone. They are also related to images, videos and other parts of content creation.

Below, some of these players are discussed and their contribution to the artificial intelligence space.

Image Generation

Image generation via artificial intelligence involves generation images from a given dataset. Image generation could be conditional in which a given criteria is used in generation of the images or unconditional in which images are generated unconditionally from the dataset. This portion of artificial intelligence is particularly efficient as it has a low error rate if coded properly, possesses incredible speed and accuracy and they won’t be affected by hostile environments.

DALL·E is an example of just how efficient and limitless AI image generation could be. It was created at one of those times when engineers at silicon valley wanted to see just what they could come up with. It creates images from text captions for a wide range of concepts expressible in natural language.

DALL-E receives both the text and the image as a single stream of data containing up to 1280 tokens, and is trained using maximum likelihood to generate all of the tokens, one after another.

Having an image generator as efficient and practical as DALL-E provides an avenue for easy completion of several projects. Architects use them to visualize buildings. Archeologists can recreate ancient structures. Advertisers and graphic designers use them to create more striking results. They are also used in video games, digital art, education, and medicine to offer more immersive experiences

Designs.ai is also an example of how simple and efficient AI is to designing images. It is an online platform that uses proprietary AI technology to make design accessible to everyone.

This means that even without design experience, you’ll be able to create stunning marketing portfolios in less than 2 minutes with the help of a user-friendly interface and AI powered tools. Tools already created within this application helps users create stunning graphics, compelling videos, personalized logos, and more in double-quick time.

Certain tools are embedded within designs.ai and these tools include; Logomaker to build your logo and brand, A.I. Videomaker to help users experience AI-powered text-to-video-tool, mockup maker to help showcase your brand on various mediums, and design maker to help get quick, quality designs with smart templates.

Another brief introduction into how artificial intelligence could define the future is seen in This Person Does Not Exist which was created by Philip Wang and it is a site that uses research released by Nvidia to create an endless stream of fake portraits.

The algorithm behind it is trained on a huge dataset of real images, then uses a type of neural network known as a generative adversarial network (or GAN) to fabricate new examples.

With this person does not exist, a new realistic image is formed every time the page is refreshed. Although this technology is creepy at best, there are still some positives to be drawn from its introduction. Some of these include a much easier job for graphic designers, could be useful in criminal profiling and more.

Even with the several advantages this technology provides, there is some drawback to its uses. A particularly obvious drawback in using this technology is that one even the slightest inspection, the impression falls apart really quickly even though it seems convincing at first sight. In particular skin and ears just don’t look right most of the time.

Much more seriously, major changes would be enforced by the introduction of this technology especially in how modern societies think about evidence and trust. Also of note is the fact that when technology like this gets into the wrong hands, it could be used to spread disruptive propaganda.

The expansion and development of artificial intelligence in image generation is not limited to the ones stated above, there is also DataGrid which is powered by Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). GANs function in a counteractive manner in which two algorithms are placed against each other with one of the algorithms producing fake images while the other one tries to spot the images as fake. In this way, it sort of increases the chances of them being viewed as real.

The last of these image-generating artificial intelligence software is CLIP . CLIP classifies a broad class of images by turning image classification into a text similarity problem. CLIP learns directly from the raw text about images.

CLIP learns from text–image pairs that are already publicly available on the internet. Reducing the need for expensive large labeled datasets.

Voice

Artificial Intelligence is being picked up as a method of providing content not just for its efficiency in providing top-tier images or texts but also for its ability to also reach the audio aspect of things. Discussed below are some sites already working to actively help users explore artificial intelligence voice-wise.

Overdub is a pleasant introduction to the efficiency with which artificial intelligence could operate. It functions by allowing users to create an ultra-realistic fake model of their voice and this “fake voice” could be then used to make corrections in audio messages like podcasts. Overdub makes correcting mistakes made in audio as simple as ones made in text.

According to Descript, training Overdub ai doesn’t even take much as well. It takes only reciting words for about 30-40 minutes into an efficiently working microphone. On the plus side, Overdub helps to erase mistakes and filler words like err and uhm used in the creation of professional jobs.

Despite all the good things that Overdub helps users achieve, we cannot help but think about what some malicious users of the app could do with it like creating deep fakes of highly influential people’s voices and using them for personal gain. Even though Overdub claims that only deep fakes of a person’s voice can be created by that person, we cannot rule out the possibility that people may still be able to find a way around it.

Voice AI is not restricted to Overdue alone. There is also Replika which is a chatbot marketed as a lifetime companion and is powered by artificial intelligence. Although there are several AI developments like siri, Overdub and the rest, Replika stands out for obvious reasons. Most artificial intelligence apps act as helpers in a way but Replika acts as a companion.

It uses a neural network to hold and maintain one-on-one conversations with its user over a sustained period of time and as this happens, Replika learns to speak like its user and is able to hold conversations with them that even helps users open up about themselves.

On the release of this AI chatbot, there have been several rave reviews about its efficiency and ability to help people know themselves more, be more conscious about their mental health, avert anxiety attacks and so much more. At the backend of all these positives it is important to note that with continual growth of apps like this,  human interaction may begin to reduce as people start to feel more secure about conversing with this technology.

In addition to Overdub and Replika, there is also Replica which uses artificial intelligence to help produce voice actors for movies and games. Replica works in a sort of way like Replika as it allows a talented actor to take the AI software on a training curve on speech pattern, pronunciation and emotional range. When this software has capably learnt these patterns, it produces an AI voice actor that could be used in games and movies.

Benefits of using Replica is that it helps save production costs, makes changing scripts easy, provides opportunities to make scripts more dynamic and so much more.

If the above voice AI doesn’t impress you enough, then Voicemaker surely should. Voicemaker makes conversion of text to speech super easy and it even gives users the convenience of choosing a wide variety of voice skins.

Another voice oriented AI is LOVO which just like Voicemaker aids in converting text to speech. It is a next generation adaptive AI software that allows users to choose from over 150 voice skins. With an app like Lovo, you’re able to include more productivity in your projects while also saving cost. Options to create personalized voices are also a part of this AI’s function as it clones normal human voices in just under 15 minutes. There is just about no limit to what AI’s like this could be used for. From gaming to e-learning as well as animations and so much more.

Modulate just like the powerful voice-based AI technologies stated above is also involved in providing assistance as concerning speech. It isn’t a voice recognition software like some of those stated above but instead, it allows users to sound like whoever they wish to sound like from powerful orators to celebrities and more. Modulate works by learning what the voice to be impersonated sounds like and then stores the information after which GAN (generative adversarial network) works on it for replacement of voices. In Modulate’s case, safeguard has even been provided as regards protection against mischievous use of the technology.

When this software is used, it can be discovered by computers as synthetic.

Just as impressive as the audio AI stated above, there is also Speech Studio which functions via artificial intelligence to provide a wide range of functions including converting text to speech via a customized voice, audio content creation, speech translation, documentation and so much more.

FInally, there is also CereProc which is referred to by the producers as the world’s most advanced text-to-speech technology. The advancement and efficiency in functioning of CereProc does not only come from it being able to convert text-to-speech alone but also that the voices utilized are almost as good as real and they also have character! Meaning that it is capable of expressing itself.

Video

When technology as mind boggling as  artificial intelligence comes to the fort, it is only expected for it to stretch and touch as many spheres as possible. Artificial intelligence has particularly been efficient in content creation and video production is also one of the areas in which this technology is being utilized. Some video oriented AI are discussed in the paragraphs below.

If Overdub, CereProc, Replica and other voice oriented AI do not tickle your fancy enough (although they quite rightly should), there is Rosebud AI which takes the application of artificial intelligence levels higher as it allows users Create virtual characters. It uses deep learning to develop photos and images. With Rosebud AI, users are allowed to create non-existing characters and animate those characters with tokkingheads.

This one would surely be liked by content creators. Alethea AI allows content creators to create unique avatars (characters) of their own and license these characters out for revenue. Along with helping content creators and Despite all the so-called ethical bias surrounding the introduction of artificial intelligence, Alethea is one to actually help to ensure the protection of privacy. Overtime, apps and software that scrape unique features off people’s faces to get information from their social media accounts have been developed and with the advent of apps like this after which this important data is sold out to companies, Alethea came with a solution to solve these problems.

Alethea is supported by a blockchain technology with which the unique avatars are given a stamp of identity and can only be used when permission is given. In addition to this, when video content is provided, the creators can choose unique positions on the face and on these positions, unique masks are produced and superimposed making it impossible to get data or clone pictures like that. This technology even works well in real time videos like zoom calls.

If you were impressed by how efficiently Alethea AI works in maintaining precious privacy, you would even be more impressed with the fact that it allows users to create a unique, intelligent, GPT-3 powered interactive version of digital assets (NFTs).

Alethea provides a new standard called iNFTs (intelligent NFTs) that is embedded with a GPT-3 prompt in its smart contract (a computer program that makes certain actions automatically executed).

The iNFT is intelligent, highly interactive and is also automatically animated which its GPT-3 prompt ensures. The intelligent and interactive nature of these iNFTs increases the value of these NFTs by 100 folds.

Expected to be a particular favorite for video content creators, Synthesia allows its users to create videos in such simple fashion. To use Synthesia in creating videos, users can create an avatar or choose from a list of available avatars, insert scripts with over 40 languages to choose from after which users simply wait for videos to be created. With technology like what synthesia provides, it is easy to see how efficiency in content production would be promoted.

If you are a huge fan of playing around with different fun videos and GIFs, then Reface is the one for you. Reface is an artificial intelligence technology that allows its users to swap between different faces during video production. Reface was widely accepted in the global community as it received over 100 million downloads in the app store upon inception, was voted app of the year on google play as well as being the number one app in the US app store and even influential people like Elon Musk have been full of praises for the app.

Would you love to see your family ancestors up to the 3rd generation wink or smile? Then Deep Nostalgia is the right way to go. This Artificial Intelligence technology is a product of MyHeritge and it incorporates the Deep Nostalgia™ feature which through different drivers produced by MyHeritage is able to add a fixed sequence of movement and gestures to pictures hence creating a short video of people performing short sequences. Before animation of the pictures, they are first edited by MyHeritage’s own video editor.

The video sequences are not authentic but are created by actors working with Deep Nostalgia but the thrill of creating fun videos like this is what has drawn several people towards embracing this technology. Truth be told, no matter how well you paint a technology that does what Deep Nostalgia does, there would always be an air of doubt as regarding how uncanny and possibly unethical processes like this could be. Whichever side you choose to be, it is indeed difficult to undermine the efficiency with which this technology functions.

An amazing content creator’s favorite, Flow-Edge allows its users to remove certain parts of a video which they deem unfit. Years ago, algorithms were developed to actually remove or replace objects in still pictures but the possibility to do this with a video was not there up until when Flow-Edge came along.

If you think removing parts of a video is all Flow-Edge does, then you’re in for a real treat as it could also use information within the video to visualize what other things need to be there and then expand the overall video area.

To join a long list of impressive artificial intelligence technology, there is also D-ID which makes production of documentaries. In some deep searching and sensitive documentaries, the need to protect the identity of those being interviewed is usually paramount hence masks are frequently used. These conventional means of using masks were the best available ones in time past but not any more because with D-ID, subject’s faces could be readily replaced with anonymized faces still maintaining facial expression of the originally interviewed individuals. What this does is that it makes the documentaries much more relatable to viewers while keeping participants protected.

Finally, there is Runway AI which makes integrating artificial intelligence into content creation workflow much easier by providing content creators with a store of machine learning operations which can be used in a simple manner.

Having explored several video oriented artificial intelligence, it is quite normal to expect a lot from artificial intelligence video wise in the future and rightly so, there is room for improvement and creation of other mind boggling technology as the boundaries to which this technology goes is quite limitless.

Text

In early paragraphs, we have seen how efficient artificial intelligence has been in relation to audio and video and it is expected that it is even more efficient with text. At least that’s what we think. To confirm our suspicions, let’s dive into some of the text oriented technology out there!

The first text oriented artificial intelligence is GPT-3 which is short for generative Pre-trained Trans and from its name, it is an advanced 3rd generation language model which uses deep learning to produce human-like texts. GPT-3 is the largest trained language model with a parameter capacity of 175 billion. It is about 10 times much larger parameter wise than Microsoft‘s Turing NLG, considered formerly as the largest with about 17 billion parameters.

Amongst the several uses of GPT-3 includes; making coding easy, resume creation, generating poetry, cloning websites, playing chess and more. GPT-3’s resume is quite impressive but there is a ‘but’ as we have seen throughout this text.

Just like every technology, GPT-3 has its own limitations and its major one being the fact that they are trained and can only give contents which they are trained for hence the fact that there could be a bias concerning the contents it provides and it could be used to provide bias speeches, pass them out and influence decisions.

In earlier paragraphs, we have seen how efficient GPT-3 actually is and If you’re one with intentions to start a sustainable business but do not know how, then IdeasAI is surely one for you. It is powered by GPT-3 and it uses its data bank to generate startup business ideas. Cool isn’t it? You get to have your retirement planned and ready all courtesy of artificial intelligence. With IdeasAI, there are several startup ideas in different fields to choose from.

If you are of the thought that artificial intelligence may be there to replace traditional writers, Shortly actually provides an alternative perspective to these thoughts as it helps writers in coming up with writing ideas.  Shortly acts as a writing partner by assisting writers in turning ideas into fully fleshed articles by executing commands provided by its user. These commands could include expanding sentences, rewriting or shortening sentences and when you combine AI’s efficiency with human thoughtfulness, you’ll be getting a seriously formidable duo.

Another AI actively assisting content creators and brands is Frase.io. Frase.io uses its bank of data to optimize your writing in such a way that you’ll have your content on the top of search and recommended lists, It helps to create content briefs and answer questions and in addition to this, it helps users generate converting traffic by helping their website dominate organic search by being the best answer, help users/visitors to the website understand questions that could involve purchasing or subscribing decisions hence making buying an easy affair.

As we know, social media is an absolutely essential part of our world today hence, it is only normal for the influence of artificial intelligence to be felt in that area as well. Artificial Intelligence reaches social intelligence via a technology referred to as Thoughts. Thoughts help its users transform raw thoughtful words into meaningful and engaging tweets powered by GPT-3.

Just like how Frase.io and Thoughts helps to optimize content writing, AI Writer also contributes its own quota towards quality writing by allowing its users transform raw headlines into top class writeups. This AI-powered article writer creates top writing in three steps: the first one which is to submit a headline, the second one being that the AI writer processes this headline coming up with captivating content concerning the top and the third step is retrieving the content. In addition to creating quality content,  AI Writer helps users save a huge amount of time.

From content writers to copywriters and SEO specialists, ContentBot is there to ensure that you never lack the ability to provide great content. ContentBot is also powered by GPT-3 which is an advanced 3rd generation language model which uses deep learning to produce human-like texts, create blog topics, copy and brand names. Another impressive part of the content-generating technology is that it does not take the copyright for the contents provided.

Further impressively, artificial intelligence has also contributed to how marketing is done on social media. This time around, it focuses on Facebook using Pencil. To generate Facebook ads using pencil, you brief the website with your idea, wait for the generated output with options to edit them also available, and finally, you can have this content exported to social media like Facebook.

Probably one of the most common, we have Grammarly which through artificial intelligence constantly corrects grammar as writing is done. Things which Grammarly mainly helps in include; cutting out unnecessary words, helps users respond with empathy and fashion writing towards driving engagement.

We have seen through several paragraphs above just how efficient artificial intelligence has been in improving the way we communicate via text and for every genius idea, there are always downsides. Artificial intelligence’s application in texting/writing is not without its own flaws but what is sure is that its efficiency can surely be combined with human thoughtfulness to transform organic thoughts into truly captivating masterpieces. Next, we discuss how artificial intelligence influences music and arts.

Music

The marks/signs of an influential invention or movement is usually based on its ability to change the way humans do things on various fronts. Artificial intelligence has done so as seen in earlier subsections but it has further impressed by also contributing to the way and manner in which we do music. Some of these are discussed below;

An example of how artificial intelligence has increased the efficiency in the way we produce music is seen in Amper Music. Amper Music is an AI powered tool for creating new music. Amper first captures users’ fancy with its incredibly simple interface and it helps generate music in four simple steps which are; selecting the genre you want, the AI software makes the music, you get a chance to edit and tweak the tunes to your taste and you can finally download the newly produced song.

Although this sort of technology has been somewhat available for a while in different fragments, Amper seems like the entire package wrapped in one. Amper isn’t capable of producing award winning songs just yet but why not?.

Another popular and efficient music related AI tool is Musenet which creates 4-minute musical compositions with 10 different instruments and can also function with a combination of styles from different eras.  Although MuseNet wasn’t programmed with the normal human sense of music in mind, it reserves some understanding concerning harmony, rhythm and style.

Art

The final aspect we would be discussing regarding artificial intelligence’s impact in the way we organize our daily lives is seen in Arts.

The first artificial intelligence technology which we would be discussing regarding art is Artbreeder which further broadens our horizon as far as art creation is involved. It is able to create new art from old ones by exploring data from the various segments of the arts. Artbreeder is also capable of forming new and improved art from two different art types.

Another jaw dropping application of AI as regarding art is seen in Awesome Machine Learning Art  which contains a collection of 50+ AI art resources which could be used in creating new and improved art.

There is also ML x Art  which showcases creative machine learning experiments and finally, Deep Dream Generator which efficiently merges images to make art.

 Predictions

The inception of contents generated by artificial intelligence has been a long time coming and seeing how well technology in general has developed over time. As humans, we are always looking for the best (quickest and efficient) ways to get things done. This need has brought the introduction of artificial intelligence forward. Certain things are expected to fall in place with the introduction of artificial intelligence in content creation and some if these are discussed below.

Production costs will drop just imagine what it’d feel like if instead of hiring different voice actors, you can simply have technology animate a single person speaking all different languages. Well you don’t have to imagine anymore because with Synthesia , David Beckham was animated speaking nine different languages.

With the introduction of technology like this, the cost of content production would significantly reduce as you can simply have AI trained to do this job for you.

Actors and artists will perform posthumously. New songs and films can be made with training data. “Immortality” boosts the value of estates as alternative assets. Introduction of artificial intelligence would also mean that we get to still enjoy favorite singers, actors and entertainers even when they are no more as we now have technology capable of making animated images by information gotten from former videos or pictures.

Just like how the internet has influenced banking in general, it has also birthed a new sort of technology called artificial intelligence. Influences of artificial intelligence in alternate investment includes; providing real time data, providing alerts and more.

Another relevant prediction when considering the impacts artificial intelligence could have on the way we live and conduct operations is the fact that Tools like Synthesia will lead to more million-dollar, one-person businesses

Formerly, you’ll have to fully understand the nitty gritty of any business you decide to run or else it could be a massive failure operation wise but with artificial intelligence, startup companies now stand a better chance as they can engage the deep learning aspects of artificial intelligence in helping them through decisions.

There are always pros and cons with the inception of new technology that generally opt to modify the way we do things. Artificial intelligence is not out of it as it could open doors for pirated personalities being used to endorse products, narrate books and more. This could be done by animation or even voice modification.

Another peculiar activity expected to be on the rise as artificial intelligence increases its popularity is that AI-generated content will be used to manipulate markets. An example of this is seen in Alethea’s light-hearted deep fake of Binance’s CZ can be spun to move crypto markets.

Despite how many good things artificial intelligence does to keep us entertained and efficiently perform activities in a coat effective manner, there are bound to be individuals who use it for menacing purposes. That being said, exploitation  artistic talent would become more ram pants and Artistic productions would become monetized. Actors will compete against synthetic identities, immortal acts and pirated personalities. Faces can be swapped. Voices synthesized. With technology like this, pirated versions of movies could be made and if done perfectly, it could even stand to compete with the original movies.

It is also expected that the improvement of artificial intelligence functioning won’t be left to eclipses alone as AI-generated content will improve based on live feedback. An example is LOL-BOT an AI comedian that observes reactions. The introduction of LOL-BOT highlights something even higher than technology itself as it bridges the wall between technology and human reaction to its output. Although this application is being used with comedy, it definitely has capacity to be used in other spheres. We’ll only have to wait and watch it unfold.

For individuals who aren’t satisfied with how their favorite movies ended or aren’t satisfied want a little bit more from their favorite characters, with artificial intelligence, they’ll be able to satisfy their fancies. An example of this is noticed with fan fiction becoming fan film as the cost of producing these movies significantly drops as artificial intelligence covers the cost of most things you may have to pay money to have done in normal movies.  Ctrl Shift Face gets millions of views on modified movies.

Finally, AI-generated code will continue to gain traction. GPT-3 can write Python code.

Opportunities

Years ago, cryptocurrency was introduced and received with much skepticism with the most popular one being Bitcoin. Some individuals had faith in the progress of cryptocurrency and have been rewarded hugely. The same is with artificial intelligence as with technology sure to develop and become better over time, it is important to understand several opportunities it could provide and what individuals need to do to harness these opportunities. Some of these opportunities are discussed below:

The introduction of artificial intelligence provides an opportunity for users to sell AI-assisted services. Another opportunity artificial intelligence provides is seen in the case Nikolay Ironov where an AI robot was data trained to come up with logo designs for money. This AI designer makes $1,000+ per logo.

Artificial intelligence as expected also improves efficiency in production of output. It provides users the opportunity to; Read text in your voice, Put yourself in movies, Let AI write in your style.

Be a fast follower to a fragmented market. Writesonic, Conversion.ai, Snazzy AI, Copysmith, Copy.ai, Headlime and more are commercializing GPT-3 for copywriting.

Introduction of artificial intelligence into arts also provides another source of revenue involving selling algorithmic art. Beeple sold a piece for $69,346,250. CryptoPunks have sold for more than $180,000,000. An active example of an active Cryptopunk producer is Larva Labs which produces about 10,000 different collectible characters with proof of ownership connected to the ethereum blockchain. After being claimed for free, these items could then be sold in online marketplaces.

Further along the line if reduced cost of production for content production, as it allows producers get royalty-free, AI-generated assets for your podcast, YouTube channel or e-commerce store. Amper makes music. Alethea makes models.

An example of AI helping to reduce cost is seen in Amper which helps its users make music using artificial intelligence and within amper, a tool referred to as score helps podcast, video producers and more produce contents accompanied with AI generated sounds. With score, all purchases are royalty-free meaning that audios can be used for specific purposes.

ProAs we know, production of highly sensitive documentaries could be difficult especially seeing that you have to ensure protection of the interviewee or narrators of real life experiences but artificial intelligence throws these fears out the window. An example of this is seen as producers now use a synthetic identity to protect privacy of those being interviewed. Tools like This Person Does Not Exist and Reface make pseudonymous YouTube channels possible. Also to add to this is that AI brings life into the session as it not only masks the face but still retains the bodily features to keep the sessions alive.

Artificial intelligence also makes managing digital assets really easier. An example is Alethea which helps users make and manage a virtual influencer. It helps users remove human headaches. Virtual influencers are omnipresent, don’t get tired and can’t fire you. Lil Miquela earns millions per year.

Finally, artificial intelligence produces an opportunity for participants to Build a micro-marketplace for AI assets. Sell AI-generated voices, faces, GIFs, music and more. See LOVO for voice overs.

Key Lessons

From everything that’s being said so far, there are some important takeaways to consider;

Artificial intelligence opens the door to media being democratized. If no-code makes you a developer. AI-generated content makes you a producer. With artificial intelligence, you can virtually be whoever you want to be as long as you have the right AI to handle the job.

Code, low-code and no-code give you limited leverage. They require direction. AI-generated content gives you unlimited leverage. Artificial intelligence makes it incredibly easy to perform tasks that you’ll ordinarily need some sort of skill to perform.

Humans are predictably irrational. For good reason. Evolution doesn’t reward rationality. It rewards replication. Irrationality isn’t surprising. It’s expected. Artificial intelligence is a product of human irrationality. It comes from thinking outside the box.

Creative destruction is net positive. It prevents stagnation and redirects effort. Before the introduction of artificial intelligence, several standing laws both ethical and technological have had to be broken. Breaking these long standing laws is not a bad thing, it only clears a pathway for new and more boundary shifting technology to be introduced.

Laws lag behind technology. Legislation struggles to keep up with deep fakes. And the tax implications of Wrapped Bitcoin. Considering how rapidly new AI softwares is being produced, it is quite difficult for laws binding them to be made. You can’t make a law concerning what is non-existent. It is becoming increasingly difficult to legislate technology at the rapid rate at which it is growing.

Deep fakes feed confirmation bias. We believe what we want to. Since, artificial intelligence is constantly getting better, we as humans would be left with our intuition to choose what we would accept or not.

We’ll keep moving the goalposts of what qualifies as AI. Today’s magic is tomorrow’s table stakes. AI couldn’t beat us in chess, Go or drive cars. Until it could. We are heading towards a progressive spiral in which we cannot really limit what artificial intelligence comes up with as it constantly raises its own bar.

Detection efforts improve deep fakes. Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) simulate arms races. Cat-and-mouse games improve AI. Since artificial intelligence has the ability to learn, it simply gets better over time.

Detractors

As expected with every evolving technology, there have been several arguments concerning the development of artificial intelligence. Some or these arguments include;

“Photoshop has been around for years. So what?”

Doctored images fool us. Higher-fidelity fakes are more convincing.

“People’s likenesses will be abused.”

That’s the path we’re on. Create to combat it. What’s the blue check version of the video? Will we “NFTfy” everything to prove authenticity?

There are currently ways to ensure authenticity as seen in social media hence, as AI improves, more measures would have to be taken to ensure that we are protected against scams and deep fakes.

Some of these authenticity measures include ver

“What about biases in AI?”

Twitter took Tay.ai from chill to racist in one day. AI is a sponge for society’s ills.

“Deep fake detection algorithms will protect us.”

Deep fakes will improve with detection efforts. GANs model an arms race. Sensity, a deep fake detection platform, is a test layer. Pass and it’s ready to release.
